As a founding member of the classic Icelandic house label Icon (later New Icon records) (along with Frankie Valentine and Icelandic dj Gretar), Tommi is well known for his contribution to the Icelandic club scene and has over the years become one of its leading producers, as well as being regarded as one of the countries best house djs.

Not only has he been a resident at almost every club and bars in Iceland, but has also performed in numerous hotspots around Europe. Places like London, Paris, Rome, Swiss, Germany, Lisbon, NY and DC, Moscow,Spain, Copenhagen and Glasgow. As an artist, as well as a dj, Tommi is recognised for his funky and soulful style, constantly pushing the boundaries, with his funky, rich flavoured house music.

Having released his debut album on the 66 Degrees label and being responsible for numerous 12”s through the years, on labels like Icon records ,New Icon records, Pronto, Track Mode records, Music Is Records, Sole Music and Oblong records (London).

Now, working frequently with live musicians, enhancing his music and live performance, Tommi’s reputation within the universal house music scene has gradually been building up, making him one of the most exciting acts around.

Recently aside from his radio shows and promotional work Tommi White has been regularly spinning at Vocal Booth Weekender Festival in Spain as well as Mothafunkin Soulful Beats in Edinburgh.

Tommi White now spearheads the PVBR movement and is the main protagonist behind the Postive Vibration Winter Gathering in Iceland on the 28th November – 2nd December 2024.
