DJ Fraggle has been spinning since 1985, driven by a lifelong passion for music that began in the cradle and grew through a love of rock, pop, funk, and soul. A dancer-turned-DJ in the 80s , he emerged from the heart of London’s vibrant club scene, progressing from house parties to launching iconic nights in 1999 The Time Tunnel and Poetic Soul.

In 2001, he founded Poetic Soul — a three floor event with each floor playing different music Poetic Soul, Poetic Funk, and Poetic House right next door to fabric a vinyl-only night celebrating the golden era of Jazz Funk, Fusion,Boogie, Neo Soul, Old school Hip Hop, RnB, and House.
From the Poetic Soul umbrella He brought back Poetic Funk a Vinyl only night in 2011 which as pioneered the revival of the 70s–80s Jazz Funk, Boogie, and Jazz Fusion scene in the UK This event now often imitated but never replicated as become a cornerstone of the UK underground soul scene, with annual appearances at The We Out Here Festival, Hidden Beach Festival, Brixton Disco Festival, Margate Soul Weekender, Mi-Soul Grand weekender, and more, alongside residencies at The BBE Store and The Fox & Firkin. Over the years, DJ Fraggle has played alongside legends such as Paul Trouble Anderson, DJ Pogo, Gordon Mac MBE, Patrick Forge, Paul Murphy and Kev Beadle, and taken his sound internationally to Brazil, Morocco, Beirut, France, and now a co Partner with the PVBR winter festival in Iceland. His sets are rooted in rare grooves, deep cuts, and timeless soul — always delivered with love, energy, and authenticity.
