Love of Music from the womb, my musical journey begins with Rock and Pop, then the 70s the love of Funk and Soul, , I became a Dancer in the 80s, and from tutelage of club life, I first began Djing in the mid 80s starting with house parties then bars and clubs, then years later moved into the Promoting phase, I started a club night in the late 90s’ called The Time Tunnel in Mellows wine bar in Aldgate, then moved to the End and Aka bar in the heart of West end, , then started a new club night in the 2001 called Poetic Soul in Farringdon in a club called Lift house spaced over 3 floors each room having different musical themes with accompaning names Poetic Funk and Poetic House I stayed there for over 7 years then with closure of the club went back to djing in private member bars Kingly Club, Pangea, BrickHouse, and then parties for actors and footballers, weddings and corporate events etc, Then I started DJing abroad in places such as Lebanon Beirut, Brazil, Morocco, Perpignan France to name but a few, and had the privilege of playing at the PVBR festival in Iceland, then in 2012 I reintroduced Poetic Funk & Poetic Jazz a night to date a night dedicated to unapologetic funk boogie, 80s soul, Jazz Funk &  Jazz Fusion a night dedicated to the  sounds of yesteryear and the soundtrack of our youth, playing at Brixton disco festival, a host of weekender events also DJing and promoting life bands at The Fox & Firkins, regularly playing at the Hidden-beach Festivals, as well as promoting Poetic Funk  once a month residency and Bar Garden Alldayers and two room bank holidays extravaganza at the Tons of Brix in between, playing at the We Out Here Festivals and headlining the official afterparty for Across the Track festival and the Mi Soul Margate festival. I also Played at Somerset House for the Missing Thread exhibition in the Strand Wc1 and The BBE record store.
